A few weeks ago I had the opportunity of spending 8 days in Rome.
Rome is one of those places where one can get lost and spend hours and hours taking pictures and never get bored or run out of subjects. Loved that trip and I am looking forward going back as soon as possible.
On my second day in the city, I was visiting Piazza Venezia, more specifically, the Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II or Altare della Patria and I noticed the bast amount of police in the area. After observing them for a while I noticed that they were incredibly friendly (with exceptions). I approached a few of them, and asked them for a picture (Posso fare una foto di voi?).
On the next few days, I kept asking the question and more carabinieri joined the pictures.
Some of them posed, others were puzzled by someone asking for a picture. They turned out to be great models.
